Gaelic Development - Comunn na Gàidhlig (CnaG) is a social enterprise which provides Gaelic services throughout Scotland. We are involved in many different areas including Young people and EventsIomairtean GàidhligEducation & Parents, and many other areas. Browse our website for news, information, application forms and employment opportunities

We also carry regular news items and write a Gaelic development blog about what we do and other interesting things.

Our programme for young people offers a variety of events in various places. These events are fun and a great way to strengthen young people's Gaelic. We also offer certificated awards such as the John Muir Award and places on our annual Sradagan camp are always in high demand.

We are heavily involved in the Iomairtean Gàidhlig. Our work in this area includes the general coordination of activity and the delivery of youth work and support for the Parental Advisory Scheme.  We work closely with the community and other Gaelic organisations.

Our popular employment opportunities page is the best place on the web to find out about the various Gaelic jobs on offer.

Comunn na Gàidhlig itself was established in 1984 and campaigned for secure status for Gaelic over many years. Our main office is in Inverness although we are active throughout the country and are flexible in our approach. If we can assist an individual, community or organisation to use Gaelic we will do.
